FAQ
If I’m just starting pickleball and plan to play long term, what paddle should I choose?
If I’m just starting pickleball and plan to play long term, what paddle should I choose?
The MEHAU B2 Series is designed for players who are just beginning pickleball and plan to play long term. Positioned as a player’s first professional pickleball paddle, the B2 offers a refined balance of control, stability, and forgiveness—supporting consistent improvement without outgrowing your equipment.
Featuring a high-density 3D carbon fiber face with a matte, textured finish, the B2 uses dual-layer friction technology to enhance surface grip and deliver precise, controlled shots. Its thermoformed one-piece construction provides a solid, responsive feel, offering clear feedback and dependable performance on every swing.
With an extra-large sweet spot and high forgiveness, the B2 promotes stable shot output and confidence across all areas of the court. As a true all-court balanced paddle, it combines maneuverability, control, and controlled power.
Why does MEHAU use one paddle shape?
Why does MEHAU use one paddle shape?
MEHAU focuses on a single paddle shape because all MEHAU paddles are built in an elongated design—a shape widely recognized across authoritative pickleball content as the most commonly used and preferred option among advanced and professional players.
The elongated paddle shape features a longer hitting surface, offering greater court coverage, improved reach, and increased leverage. This design supports stronger power generation and enhanced spin potential, making it especially effective for serves, baseline rallies, and backhand stability. For players seeking consistent performance and technical progression, elongated paddles are a core choice at higher levels of play.
By applying this proven elongated shape across multiple paddle models, Mehau is able to refine balance, feel, and performance at a deeper level—allowing different constructions and technologies to serve different playing preferences, while maintaining a unified, professional-grade foundation.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Proof of purchase is required, and clear photos or videos may be requested for review. Mehau will evaluate each case and, if approved, offer a replacement, repair, or other appropriate solution.
Damage caused by misuse, impact, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications is not covered.
Why does MEHAU offer multiple pickleball paddle series?
Why does MEHAU offer multiple pickleball paddle series?
Pickleball paddles are not just sports equipment—they directly affect shot performance, match consistency, and long-term playability. MEHAU designs its paddles to deliver reliable quality, stable performance, and durability under both daily play and high-intensity competition.
Because players differ in power generation, swing tempo, shot mechanics, and feel sensitivity, pickleball paddles cannot be generalized, nor can a single solution meet every player’s needs. That’s why MEHAU developed four distinct paddle series to offer clear, purpose-driven choices:
B Series – Entry Foundation
Designed as a player’s first professional pickleball paddle, the B Series offers balanced performance, high forgiveness, and stable feel—ideal for players committing to long-term play.
X Series – Power
Focused on offensive output and finishing ability, built for players who rely on aggressive shots and point-ending power.
E Series – Precision
Engineered for accuracy and control, helping players place shots with confidence and consistency.
S Series – Innovation
Mehau’s advanced technology line, featuring cutting-edge structural solutions and new performance concepts.
This clear series structure allows players to choose equipment based on how they play—without compromise.
